Dan Kitchener, or DANK, has finished his second big BG piece in Hull. The professional mural/street artist’s latest piece can be found on the side of the Danish Buildings on High Street in Hull’s Old Town.

In a Facebook post DANK reveals that the mural is titled ‘Peace’ and that he had such a superb time painting in Hull last year that he had to come back for more.

DANK’s first Hull mural, Queen Of Colours, was revealed back in July of 2020, and as the name suggests, was a beautiful, colourful addition to the King Billy pub.

The latest mural however, features a ‘simple delicate’ geisha emerging from the darkness, which Dank compares to the public coming out of lockdown.

‘Peace’ is just one of a number of big new Bankside Gallery Hull pieces to be painted over the summer months.
