After a meteoric rise through the ranks, Scottish Comedy Award winner and viral sensation Gary Meikle is returning to Hull City Hall’s Mortimer Suite with his second tour, Surreal on 26 September, 2021

Known as the ‘iBrow guy’, after an internet rant about his daughter’s eyebrows racked – up more than 100 million views, the comedian’s shows have raised more than a few eyebrows and even more laughs.

The hilarious Gary Meikle is coming to Hull City Hall in September 2021

Surreal perfectly describes Gary’s last two years. He started gigging in comedy clubs, and ended up selling out big theatres in the UK as well as tours in America, Canada and Europe – performing to tens of thousands of people along the way.

The new show will cover topics such as evolution, social media, how to deal with burglars, single mums, bee sex, small man syndrome and as always will draw material from his own real-life experiences, including his unique family dynamic and his rapid rise to online fame.

Not one for mincing his words, or voicing his opinions, no matter how warped, the fast paced, punchy storyteller finds the funny in anything. Expect the unexpected from this ‘playfully dark’ star.
