We are happy to announce our latest Home Educators’ Day on Friday 17th November.
Join us for exciting workshops at The Deep and learn all about our Holderness Heroes!
“Imagine yourself on a trip to the chilly waters of Spurn Point on the Holderness coast. Use your observational skills to spot the native animals hiding amongst the fronds of the newly restored seagrass meadows and oyster reef habitats. Discover how the North Sea shapes the coastline and how humans influence this environment.”
Especially aimed at children who are educated at home, these fun and informative 40-minute workshops are perfect for ages 3 to 18.
Places cost £10 per child and include a specially designed ‘Holderness Heroes’ workshop appropriate to your child’s age.
A timetable of available workshops can be found here.
Free adult spaces are available on a 1:1 basis per paying child place. Any additional adults will need to purchase a full price ticket via our main website.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
*IMPORTANT*
Due to limited space please note that workshop spaces are limited to 1 adult per child. Additional adults in your group are welcome into the main attraction but will not be permitted into the classroom.
