It is one of the most popular kids’ television shows right now – and our little ones cannot seem to get enough of Peppa Pig and her friends. So, children and their parents alike are bound to be excited to hear that a new Peppa themed music and movement programme is hitting Hull. Move with Peppa, a nationwide franchise, will launch new classes across the city next month. The classes are a series of movement, dance and physical activity classes for children aged 16 months to five years old and are created using stories from the award winning TV episodes.
Children across Hull will be able to learn the specially created ‘Peppa Steppa’ Dance routine and get the chance to immerse themselves in the magic of Peppa and her friends. Each 30 to 45 minute class is designed to build motivation, physical confidence, coordination, balance and agility and will run in six or 12 week blocks from February 27. Holly Woodford, founder, said: “We are passionate about getting people of all ages moving. Despite the rising level of inactivity in under-fives, physical activity provision for this age group in the UK is surprisingly limited.
“We wanted to create a programme that would excite and inspire young children as they experience physical exercise for the first time. “Children across the country have fallen in love with Peppa Pig through their TV screens, so how better to inspire younger generations to be active than through Peppa themed exercises.”
