What's it about?

The annual Open Exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery has celebrated the creativity of local amateur and professional artists since 1967. This year’s exhibition has been selected by Hurvin Anderson, artist and 2017 Turner Prize nominee; Rosie Millard, journalist, author and Chair of Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and Dr Barnaby Wright, Curator of 20th Century Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art.

The display often includes a truly diverse selection of artworks in a variety of styles and media, many of which will also be for sale, allowing visitors to purchase original artworks at a range of prices.
