What's it about?
Save all your kisses for me as we bring you a Seventies Extravaganza this October at the Doubletree by Hilton Hull.
Who better than Eurovision song contest winners BROTHERHOOD OF MAN to tell the seventies story. They were at the heart of all the glitz and glamour with their 3 No.1 records.
In 1976 Brotherhood of Man won the Eurovision song contest with the much loved song Save your kisses for me, one of the biggest selling records of all time, number 1 in 33 countries and in the Guiness Book of World Records for the official biggest selling Eurovision single of all time.
The original line up will be performing all their chart hits like Oh Boy (The Mood I’m In), My Sweet Rosalie, Beautiful Lover and their chart-toppers Angelo, Figaro and Save All Your Kisses For Me.
Joining them will be the Official UK No.1 Winner of the National Tribute Awards 2017 ULTIMATE ELTON.
Some tribute artists look like their idol, some sound like their idol. Paul Bacon as Elton John does both! Close your eyes and you won’t believe your ears, open your eyes and you won’t believe them either! You simply won’t find a closer tribute to Sir Elton John.
Together they will help recreate the 1970s in style at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel on Saturday 19 October 2019.
The event is in aid of local charity CASE which support local people with learning disabilities from across the region to improve their lives.
In recent years CASE has been behind bringing some great acts to Hull including The Real Thing, The Three Degrees and The Bootleg Beatles. Steve Rusling, Marketing Manager at CASE says “I’m really looking forward to this years event, I cannot wait to transform the venue into a 70s Boogie Wonderland. Our Seventies Extravaganza will be like a disco dancing heaven!”
Tickets are £55 and include a 3-course meal and go on sale at 10am on Monday 3 June 2019. Dress is strictly Black tie or 70s fancy dress.
