Fans who missed out on tickets for The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars gig at Hull City Hall have another chance to see the unique performance of the album in its entirety with today’s announcement of a second date.
Shortly after the highly-anticipated homecoming show for The Spiders with the band Holy Holy, featuring the original Spiders drummer Woody Woodmansey, on Saturday, March 25 2017 was revealed as part of the first season of events for Hull UK City of Culture 2017, it was a sell-out. Tickets were snapped up by fans from as far afield as Canada, Germany, London and Plymouth as well as people in East Yorkshire.
Now the first ever live and complete rendition of the concept album that shaped and changed the face of music forever – which will also feature long time Bowie collaborator and legendary producer Tony Visconti and Heaven 17’s Glenn Gregory – can also be seen on Sunday, March 26 2017. Tickets for the second date will go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 30.
