I just checked the weather and it’s set to be 23°c on Saturday, so make sure you head outside and get the most out of our sorry excuse of a ‘summer’. I suggest the VISTA Festival on Princes Ave for a relaxed, quirky vibe along with good drinks, good food and heaps of entertainment.
Drone School Workshop (Saturday and Sunday)
Ever fancied having a go at flying a drone? If so, then here is your chance! As part of the Amy Johnson Festival, this fantastic workshop let’s anyone of any age have the experience of flying a Nano Drone through an obstacle course. Just drop by with the kids!
AniMotion (Saturday and Sunday)
Long-time fans of animation and budding animation-enthusiasts are in for a treat at the Maritime Museum this weekend. AniMotion is in Hull, displaying its extensive archive of animation throughout the decades and offering a wide range of fun, artsy activities that all ages will enjoy. There is also chance to meet everyone’s favourite clay-man, Morph. It’s free too, so don’t forget to check it out.
The Karpenters: Yesterday Once More (Saturday evening)
Relive the golden era of the 70s with this top tribute to The Carpenters. Laurie Briggs and The Karpenters Band recreate the music and the magic of those times including “Close to you”, “Top of the World” and “Yesterday Once More”
Avenues Open Gardens (Sunday)
