Leeds is like an abundant and ever-changing season. As we see the flowers bloom, we watch as the city continues to expand, and welcomes new faces to the street front. Whilst we leave behind the winter and welcome new spring, we can reflect on changes happening in the city and discuss where we should invest our time eating, drinking and socialising this coming season.

OWT

In the heart of Kirkgate Market is this new and exciting food stall. Inspired by its surroundings and the seasons, OWT features an ever-changing weekly menu, using only produce sold within Kirkgate itself. This is to reach their goal of reaffirming the relationship between traders, customers and themselves; a tradition associated with markets across the world. Whilst OWT is located in the centre of Leeds making it a perfect spot for lunch, they also offer a breakfast menu until 12pm. All their meals also come with a complimentary coffee!

Archive

This new coffeehouse, eatery and event space lends its name from its location of a former TV archive on Kirkstall Road. Their goal is to offer a unique space to eat, drink and kickback for both the local community and the media industry alike. They achieve this by serving fresh, locally sourced food, the finest coffee alongside a selection of beers and soft drinks. The location of PRIME STUDIOS also helps their goal with a roster of high profile TV dramas being filmed there, such as The ABC Murders and music videos for the likes of Nicki Minaj; perhaps you may spot a celebrity enjoying a flat white inside Archive on your next visit.
