The Ferens Art Gallery was opened in 1927 and named after former Hull MP, Thomas Ferens, because Thomas Ferens himself donated the site and money to open it. The gallery features an extensive array of both permanent collections and roving exhibitions and in 2017, it hosted the prestigious, Turner Prize.
The building also houses a children’s gallery and a popular cafe. It’s open every day in Hull city centre and it’s free entry to all. You can see all of the galleries and exhibitions coming
