Next spring is already looking brighter than this year’s washout with two great new shows heading to Hull City Hall in March and April, 2022.
First up is the hysterically funny Ed Gamble, whose new show Electric will be at full power on the giggle-watts when his tour sparks into life in Hull on 25 March, 2022.
After a sell-out tour of his house in 2020 (extended into 2021 due to popular demand), the comedian is charged up and ready to flick the switch on another night of attention seeking.
The co-host of the award-winning mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster, is also a champion of the BBC’s Taskmaster, has his own stand-up special Blood Sugar and is a regular on hit shows Mock the Week, Live At the Apollo, The Russell Howard Hour, QI, Would I Lie To You, and appears on Radio X alongside Matthew Crosby.
From stand-up, Hull City Hall moves to sensational dance with Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe, whose Freedom tour steps onto the stage on 23 April, 2022.
This incredible show will celebrate music and dance, from African fusion to fiery Latin, classic arrangements and huge party anthems, with a company of exciting dancers.
Johannes, who started dancing when he was seven, will take the audience on his personal journey, from growing up in South Africa, to travelling the world, winning international titles and starring in the prime-time BBC 1 show.
