2020 might have been a write-off for live events and gigs, but now that there’s a plan for all this to finally be over with, we can start to look ahead to the latter half of 2021 with hope that our favourite gigs will be back.

Here, we’ve got the rundown of all the top comedians planning on a trip to Hull & East Yorkshire as part of their post-lockdown tours. Please remember, all these dates are subject to change, but we’ll try to keep this article as up to date as possible.

Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny

Put political correctness to one side if you’re planning to go see Jimmy Carr when he comes to East Yorkshire. He’s got two gigs planned for our region this year.

Tickets are very limited at Bridlington Spa in July, with a bit more availability for Hull City Hall in September.

Crissy Rock

Crissy Rock is an actress and comedian from Liverpool. She notably played Janey in ITV’s Benidorm. She also appeared on the 11th series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She’s very, very funny! Tickets still available!

Sarah Millican: Bobby Dazzler

Friday 16, Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 July, Baths Hall Scunthorpe
Sunday 22 August 2021, Bridlington Spa
Saturday 26 March 2022, Bonus Arena, Hull

In this, Sarah’s sixth international tour, you’ll learn about what happens when your mouth seals shut, how to throw poo over a wall, trying to lose weight but only losing the tip of your finger, a surprisingly funny smear test, and how truly awful a floatation tank can actually be.

Tickets are available for Baths Hall in July, Bridlington Spa in August, with limited availability for Bonus Arena in March.

The famous TV comic will be going back on tour after the pandemic delayed his original dates.

Tickets are very limited for Baths Hall and Bridlington Spa in September, but plenty are available for Bonus Arena, Hull in February.

Gary Meikle

Ok, so Gary Meikle might not be the biggest name on this list but he’s definitely one of the funniest! The Scottish comedian has been huge on social media during lockdown. Tickets are still available for his gig at Hull City Hall in September.

Milton Jones: Milton Impossible

Wednesday 6 October 2021, Hull City Hall

The king of puns will be back on tour later this year. He’s a regular on Mock The Week, and appeared on Live At The Apollo and various other TV shows. Tickets still available!

Ed Byrne: If I’m Honest

Wednesday 13 October 2021, Hull City Hall
Thursday 17 February 2022, Bridlington Spa

Another big name TV comic is on the schedule for Hull. Ed Byrne presents his brand-new masterclass in observational comedy. Tickets still available for Hull City Hall in October and for Bridlington Spa in February.

Bill Bailey: En Route to Normal
